DESCRIPTION: Available here for your consideration is a 1958 trophy belt buckle for cutting. This buckle is a true piece of history to behold! It features a classic image of the cowboy and steer, with very well done details. The applique image is surrounded by gorgeous stamp work and inscribed with the words, "OPEN CUTTING, GRUVER, TEXAS - 1958", and "RIP BARRETT". 

MAKER: Hallmarked Rip Barrett (etched in script, which is probably the recipient of the buckle).

APPROX AGE: Circa 1958.

SIZE: This buckle measures 3-1/2 inches wide x 2-5/8 inches tall, fits a 1-3/4 inch belt, and weighs 66.2 grams. 

CONDITION: Fair for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures  (it shows a lot of wear) as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
