Description: Offered for sale is a stunning circa 1960s-1970s Persian turquoise squash blossom necklace. This is a great vintage necklace with a nice large naja. It is set with 22 gorgeous Persian turquoise cabochons and features hand soldered beads that are strung on a foxtail chain. It is sterling silver and has a substantial weight to it. Attached to it is the old original pawn ticket! Persian Turquoise comes from mines located in Iran. Even though turquoise is generally a softer stone, the turquoise mined from Persia tends to be harder than turquoise mined anywhere else.
