DESCRIPTION: A great old pair of black wooly (angora) chaps in really nice condition for their age. They have their original belt and lining and appear to have been lightly used throughout their life. Wooly chaps became popular in the late 1800's and remain highly collectible to this day. Originally they were designed to protect cowboys who worked in colder wetter regions. However, because of their look, they were also popular with Wild West Show performers. Today they are highly sought after by Western American collectors.
