Description: An original Navajo Chief's blanket from the early 1900s. This wonderful blanket features the traditional 3rd Phase style of striped designs which are accented with 9 triangular blocks. The colors are a white background with dark brown stripes with blue and red accents. This is a nicely woven blanket with hand spun and hand dyed wool. The colors have faded a bit with age and there is slight damage, but overall it's a nice example.

Approx. Age: Circa early 1900s.
Size: Measures approx. 51inches wide X 62 inches long.
Condition: Pretty good for its age, some wear and minor imperfections expected and there is a small damage area near one edge. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description.
