Offered in this lot is an Antelope Kachina inlay bolo slide by Andrew Dewa. This slide has a cobblestone inlay created with turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, onyx, abalone, and shell. The inlay is accented with twisted wire, stamped silver dots, and hand stamped designs on the edges. The slide is on a black braided cord with silver tips with silver beads at the ends. MAKER: Hallmarked A. Dewa Zuni (stamped). Andrew Dewa (?-2001; Zuni). Active 1960s to 2001). His wife, Barbara collaborated with him and continues to use the same designs.
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).
SIZE: The leather cord measures 36 inches overall including the tips. The slide measures 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide, and the tips measure 2 inches long. The total weight for this item is 8.6 grams (with most of the cord off the scale).
