Description: Offered here is an antique silver spade bit with snake designs in the shanks. The spade is an old hand forged bit with a copper roller and copper on the mouth piece. The "snake" silver inlay and appears to be sterling but it was not tested. This is a good looking old bit from the late 1800s to early 1900s.

APPROX AGE: Late 1800s to early 1900s.
SIZE: Mouth 4-1/2 inches. It is 7.5 inches tall overall.
