Bill Adamson Double Mounted Heart and Diamond Design Spurs with Leathers

Available here for your consideration is a nice pair of Bill Adamson double mounted heart and elongated diamond design spurs with nine point handmade rowels. This is a like new/never worn childrens or ladies pair of spurs. The heel bands are accented with copper and silver overlays accented with intricate engraving. The shank's and buttons also feature similar work. The stamped leathers are marked ADAMSON as well.
Contemporary spur maker Bill Adamson, who in 2002, was awarded "Spur Maker of the Year" by the Academy of Western Artists, was also a founding member, hall of fame inductee, and past president of the National Bit, Spur, and Saddle Collectors Association. Bill began building bits and spurs in 1982. SIZE: The heel openings measure approximately 2 1/4 inches, the band width measures 1/2 inch and the shanks measure 1 1/2 inches long overall.
