Available here for your consideration are a pair of Billy Klapper's personal spurs from the early 1990s that were bought from him at a roping event in San Angelo, TX in 1994! According to the hand written letter signed by Billy, these spurs were made in 1991 and he wore them until 1994 when he sold them to Hall of Fame saddle maker and well-known roper, Bob Scott.

Billy Ray Klapper (1937-2024) was a world-famous bit and spur maker who produced bits and spurs sought after by the ranching community and collectors alike. Among his accolades are creating spurs for many well known people - including a pair for King Charles III, and an appearance on the hit TV show, Yellowstone where he played himself.

Bob Scott is a well-known saddle maker and leather guy who made the World Champion saddles for the PRCA two years in a row in the early 1970s (among many other accolades throughout his life).

This particular pair of spurs is numbered 509 and double mounted with ten point rowels. They have a steer head design on one side and a floral pattern on the other. This set of Klapper spurs comes with two hand written letters attesting to the story of how Klapper sold his personal spurs! One letter is from Klapper himself and the other is from Hall of Fame saddle maker, Bob Scott (who purchased the spurs from Klapper). Make these historic spurs yours today!
