Carole Cooke's Paintings of Jay Laber's Blackfeet Warriors Sculptures

Offered here for your consideration is two original oil paintings by Carole Cooke  of Jay Laber's Blackfeet Warriors sculptures. The artworks depict two Native American warriors set against an open plains landscape with a clear blue sky. The riders are richly detailed with traditional regalia, including feathered headdresses, shields and staffs, while the horses are rendered with strong posture and movement. Cooke was inspired by Jay Laber's Blackfeet Warriors Sculptures displayed at the Blackfeet Reservation and told us she contacted him for permission to paint the monuments. The artwork is displayed in matching wooden frames and is presented as a companion set. This pair would make an excellent addition to any collection of Western art or serve as a standout decorative work in a home or office. *Note - no in-house shipping. CONDITION: Good for their age, some wear and aging expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
