Here is an awesome piece! The catlinite pipe and stand were made by Adam Fortunate Eagle, a well-known artist. The quilled stem was purchased by the previous owner separately and it is Sioux, circa mid century. It has a beautiful red and white quill work done with red dyed horsehair accents.
MAKER: Pipe bowl and stand are by Adam "Fortunate Eagle" Nordwall (who goes by Fortunate Eagle) - a well known artist. He signed the edge of the pipe rim. The quilled stem is unmarked, but attributed to being a vintage Sioux piece.
APPROX AGE: Circa early 2000s on the stand and bowl and circa 1950s on the stem.
SIZE: 4 inches wide X 29-1/4 inches long overall.
CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
