Offered here for your consideration is a circa 1920s to 1930s era, "Dead Pawn" turquoise and sterling silver concho belt. This belt features 10 round conchos, 11 butterfly conchos and a buckle each highlighted with repousse, hand stamped designs and scalloped edges. The round conchos are further accented with a central turquoise cabochon while the buckle showcases four turquoise cabochons each displayed in smooth silver bezels. PROVENANCE: This item is "Dead Pawn" from the Flagstaff Trading Company. The previous seller owned the business from 1965-1975 and this was one of the old pieces he kept after selling it.
MAKER: Likely Navajo, based on style and design, however this item is unmarked (as was common of Native jewelry from this era). 
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between the 1930s to 1970s). 
SIZE: The overall length measures 34 1/2 inches long. The butterfly conchos each measure 5/8 inch wide x 1 1/4 inches tall. The round conchos each measure 1 1/2 inches tall x 1 3/4 inches wide. The buckle measures 1 5/8 inches tall x 2 inches wide and fits a 3/4 inch belt. The total weight is 143.0 grams.
