Offered here for your consideration is "Coffee Break" a multi-colored bronze by Susan Kliewer. This nice bronze features a Native American man on a morning walk with his coffee cup in hand, and using his walking stick to help guide his way. The bronze has been colored on his headband to a nice red, and he is seen wearing a lovely turquoise necklace. Colored bronze is used to add effect and contrast to bronze sculpture. It is usually in shades of brown, blue, silver, and gold. This nicely detailed bronze rests on a nice wooden base. This detailed bronze would look great in your home or your office! MAKER: Signed Susan Kliewer, 2008. Susan Kliewer (1940-;) Kliewer has lived in Arizona for more than 40 years, and began sculpting in 1987. In 1993, Kliewer won the competition to create a ten-foot statue of Sedona Schnebly, the namesake of Sedona, AZ, and has since commissioned many more monuments , and is currently working on one for the Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens and Sculpture Park, located in Kauai, Hawaii consisting of twenty two 2/3 life size figures depicting a Navajo settlement. She has also won many awards and prizes for her sculptures. 
APPROX AGE: 2008.
SIZE: 14 3/4 inches tall x 6 3/4 inches wide.
