DESCRIPTION: Offered here for your consideration is an exquisite flush inlay turquoise squash blossom set. This set is a Dishta family style, although not officially marked, it features their trademark style with marvelous flush inlay turquoise. Both the naja and the four petal blossoms features clusters of this great flush inlay turquoise and light silver dot accents. The necklace features handmade sterling silver beads and is strung on a foxtail wire for durability. The hook earrings feature a similar flush inlay design with the turquoise varying in color due to age and being natural.
MAKER: Marked with owners name and gift date: "NANCY R. BAYFIELD 1966". It is also marked with an old traders mark, "VEXX", and small unidentifiable script.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1966.
SIZE: The necklace measures 25 inches around the neck, and the naja measures 2-3/8 inches long x 2-3/8 inches wide. The earrings measures 1-7/8 inch long x 1/2 inch wide. The total weight for this item is 118.5 grams.
