Description: This large bolo features beautiful coral stones and nice embellishments in the silver work. Cord is braided black leather with unique coral inlay, sterling silver dangles on the tips (these are not original to the piece and appear to be added on). Marked as sterling silver.
Maker: Fred Thompson, a well-known Navajo artist.
Approx Age: Vintage, circa 1970s (based on style and it has a Bennett, C-31 clasp on the back which was produced from about the mid-50s thru mid-60s).
Size: Slide measures approx. 3 7/8" l x 2 1/4" wide. It's on a 48" braided leather cord with sterling tips. Weighs 110.0 grams.
Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
