Great Older Turquoise Bracelet by Fred Peshlakai

For your consideration we present a great older turquoise bracelet by Fred Peshlakai. This beautiful bracelet features a central turquoise cabochon resting in a smooth silver bezel. Surrounding the setting and accenting the smooth silver cuff are hand stamped designs. This beautiful turquoise and sterling silver bracelet is one you will enjoy for years to come.  
MAKER: Hallmarked- FP super-imposed on left facing arrow (stamped)-Fred Peshlakai (c1896-1974; Navajo). Active mid 1920s to 1970. In 1931 Fred was an instructor at the Wingate Indian School where he taught silversmith techniques to Kenneth Begay.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1930s to 1940s.
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 3/4 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 inch gap (fits a 6 3/4 inch wrist). It measures 3/4 inch wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 23.2 grams.
