For your consideration we present a great older turquoise bracelet by Fred Peshlakai. This beautiful bracelet features a central turquoise cabochon resting in a smooth silver bezel. MAKER: Hallmarked- FP super-imposed on left facing arrow (stamped)-Fred Peshlakai (c1896-1974; Navajo). Active mid 1920s to 1970. In 1931 Fred was an instructor at the Wingate Indian School where he taught silversmith techniques to Kenneth Begay.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1930s to 1940s.
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 3/4 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 inch gap (fits a 6 3/4 inch wrist). It measures 3/4 inch wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 23.2 grams.
