Description: Although this bracelet is from the latter par of the Fred Harvey Era, it is a little better than normal as it is handmade. A close look will tell you that someone melted down silver and hammered this one out by hand. It is set with a piece of red colored petrified wood that has eye catching streak through it. Take a look!

Maker: Most likely Navajo or Pueblo, but there is not maker's mark (as was common of Native Style jewelry from this era).

Approx. Age: Vintage (Circa 1940s - 50s).

Size: Inside circumference measures 5 1/4" plus there is just over a 1 1/4" gap (making this bracelet fit about a 6 1/2" wrist). It is about 1 1/8" wide across the face and weighs 26.5 g.

Additional info: The Fred Harvey Era refers to a time frame from about the mid 1950s back to around the turn of the last century. Tourist bought Native Jewelry and other items while traveling by Rail and later by Highway. This old bracelet is from that era and likely came from one of the shops that made several of these. It was tested as being either sterling (.925) or at least coin (.900) silver.

Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.

Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description.
