DESCRIPTION: Presented here for your consideration is a Hopi Necklace by multiple award winning artist Victor Coochwytewa. Like the artists other pieces, there is no shortage of artistry here. He dedicated his time and love to create a wonderful traditional Hopi overlay and sterling silver pendant and handmade chain. The pendant features geometric and traditional Hopi designs.
MAKER: Hallmarked with a cloud and 5 rain clouds, and the Hopi guild. Victor Coochwytewa (1922-2011; Hopi). Active since 1940s. Multiple award winner. In 1994, he was declared a Arizona Indian Living Treasure.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1960s.
SIZE: This necklace measures approx. 23 inches around the neck. The pendant measures 1-3/4 inches long x 1-3/8 inches wide at the widest part, and weighs 30.4 grams.
