DESCRIPTION: For your review is a Hopi ring with nice turquoise by award-winning Hopi artist, Victor Coochwytewa. This stunning overlay ring features a phenomenal turquoise cabochon that acts as part of the "bear claw" set on a darkened background along with the cutout claws. The "bear claw" is accented with hand stamped designs surrounding the edges of the ring setting. It is sterling silver and would look great on anyone!

MAKER: Hallmarked with a cloud with five rain lines. Victor Coochwytewa (1922-2011; Hopi). Active since 1940s. Multiple award winning artist and was declared an Arizona Indian Living Treasure.

APPROX AGE: Circa 1960s-1970s.
