DESCRIPTION: Available for your consideration is a HUGE squash blossom necklace set. This is a stunning set with an absolutely giant squash blossom necklace, ring and bracelet that is believed to be the second largest squash blossom necklace set in the world! It has stunningly large turquoise cabochons in handmade bezels with twisted wire accents and hand stamped designs. The necklace has gorgeous four petal blossoms on each blossom setting and a large turquoise naja with stone dangles. Please note that some of the larger turquoise stones have small fissures in them. This is a wonderful chance to add one of the most unique squash blossom necklaces you will ever find to your collection! PROVENANCE: From an Albuquerque estate. The now deceased owner had a shop in Albuquerque for many years. This necklace was said to be in the shop since the early 1970s. NO SHIPPING on the display stand, contact us for possible options. APPROX AGE: Early 1970s.
SIZE: The bracelet measures 5-5/8 inches from end to end on the silver plus a 1-1/2 inch gap (fits a 7- 1/8 inch wrist), and measures 5-3/8 inches from top to bottom and 3-1/8 inch at the widest part (weighs 13 ounces). The ring is approx. a size 14 ring size, and measures 3-1/4 inch wide x 3-3/4 inches long (weighs 5.5 ounces). The necklace approx. 70 inches end to end, the naja measures 8- 1/2 inches wide by 6 inches long. The blossoms measure approx. 4- 1/2 to 5- 1/2 inches wide by 2- 1/2 to 3- 1/2 inches long and the total weight is approx. a WHOPPING 7- 1/2 lbs. The board it is mounted on measures 40 inches from top to bottom and 20 inches across.
CONDITION: Good for its age but please note that some of the turquoise has small cracks/fissures in them. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
