Offered here for your consideration is a Kachina themed necklace with charoite. This necklace features a central "Butterfly Maiden" pendant with one charoite cabochon resting in a smooth silver bezel. The pendant is accented with silver overlay, nice hand stamped designs and deep stamped lines, creating a three dimensional look. Charoite's name is derived from the Chara (or Charo) River in eastern Siberia, Russia, the only site in the world where it is found. The word “Chary” in Russian means “magic” or “charms.”The neckline is defined with a "Mudhead" on one side, and a "Koshari" on the other side. Both of these Kachinas are accented with hand stamped designs and the "Koshari" sports very nice etched lines. The sterling silver chain has silver findings at the end, which finishes this piece off nicely.  This necklace would look beautiful alone or layered with other necklaces.  Add it to your collection now!
