Offered here for your consideration is a large "cactus" horse art piece by Simon Donovan. This work of art was a part of the Ponies del Pueblo exhibition and auction, sponsored by the Tucson Pima Arts Council in 2004. The artist was given a fiberglass horse to decorate or paint. This one was done with polyurethane expansion foam and carved to look like a cactus. A thin layer of spackle/plaster was applied, sanded, painted and sealed. The cactus spikes are countless numbers of painted wooden toothpicks (per Simon Donovan). This is for indoor use only and should not be allowed to get wet. It can be cleaned using canned air. Also in 2004, this piece was featured on the front cover of Tucson Lifestyle Magazine. This unique and one-of-a-kind artistic sculpture would look great in your home or office, so get it today! *Note - no in-house shipping.
