Description: A great pair of older white wooly (angora) chaps. Wooly chaps became popular in the late 1800's and remain highly collectible to this day. Originally they were designed to protect cowboys who worked in colder, wetter regions. However, because of their look, they were also popular with Wild West Show performers and today are sought after by collectors. This great old pair was made by the well-known maker, Dave Shelley and are marked with his maker's stamp. They appear to be barely worn!
