Offered here for your consideration is "Mother Bathing Child", a bronze statue and water feature by renown American artist, Jim Demetro. Demetro has been honored to have works of art displayed not only in his home country, but internationally as well. This is a limited edition numbered (24/26) statue made of bronze. This bronze features a young Native American mother bathing her child's hair on a rocky ledge. It is highly detailed and incorporates an internal plumbed water feature (pump not included). You can use this piece as a large bronze or use it as a water feature (or both). MAKER: Jim Demetro. Includes a picture with description by the artist.  According to an internet bio: In 1992 Demetro left his engineering career to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time fine arts sculptor. He received the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Clark County Arts Commission. He received the first Cultural Recognition Award, given in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in 2018. Private collectors of his works include actress Connie Stevens, actors Tom Cruise and Donald Sutherland, and former Nike President, Phil Knight. Jim, Christina and Jim’s wife Eva worked on a 9/11 Memorial project for thirteen years with the Spirit of America Foundation. 
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern. 
SIZE: The mother measures approximately 46 inches tall and the child measures 19 inches tall. Overall the statue measures approximately 49 inches tall x 21 inches wide x 30 inches from front to back. Total weight including the base is approximately 350 pounds.  
CONDITION: Good for its age with normal wear and minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
