Nice Jerry Cates Double Mounted Spurs

Offered here for your consideration are very nice pair of Jerry Cates double mounted spurs. These are some nice spurs that make a statement! One heel band on each spur has a nicely engraved brass band button, silver applique of longhorn steer and an etched silver plate at the rowels. The opposite heel band has three beautifully engraved silver buttons and three engraved silver plates along the shank. There are 24 rowel points!  Impressive spurs that you should put in a place of honor in your collection!
MAKER: Marked CATES 911. Jerry Cates. 
APPROX AGE: Vintage (meaning somewhere between 1930s and 1970s). 
SIZE: The heel openings measure 3 1/8 inches, with a 1 1/8 inches wide band and 3 1/4 inches shanks overall.
