Description: Here is a great pair of traditional Canon City spurs. They are double mounted with the typical vine and leaf engraving Canon City was so well known for. However, it is very rare to have a pair of signed Canon City spurs and these spurs are marked GUY. Also included with these spurs is a book about Canon City Spurs and the Men Who Made Them (see pics). On page 48, they talk about GUY marked spurs.
MAKER: Hallmarked GUY.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1920s.
SIZE: The heel opening is approx. 3 inches. The heel bands are 3/4 inches wide and the shanks are 3-1/8 inches long (including the rowels).
CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
