Presented here for your enjoyment are a Royston necklace, bracelet and earrings. The necklace features a striking two wire naja, highlighted by three Royston turquoise cabochons set in smooth silver bezels. The stones are surrounded by coiled motifs, silver dots, hand stamped edges, and darkened silver backgrounds for added depth. Along the neckline, eight large blossoms in graduated sizes echo the same turquoise and silver design. Two strands of sterling silver beads strung on foxtail wire, complete the piece beautifully. The group also includes a bracelet with a two wire terminal, adorned with matching Royston turquoise and complementary silver work. Finishing the set are dangle earrings with post backs, matching the necklace’s style.

MAKER: The earrings are hallmarked DB (stamped). The necklace is hallmarked with a rain cloud (stamped). Manuel Hoyungwa (Hopi; 1953-2011). Nephew of Preston Monongye, father of Todd and Troy Hoyungwa. Active 1970s to 2011. Shared a hallmark with his wife Karen Hoyungwa (Hopi). Both are multiple award winners.

SIZE: This necklace measures approximately 25 inches from end to end and the naja measures 3 1/4 inches across at the widest point x 4 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The blossoms measure from 1 1/4 inches to 1 1/2 inches tall x 2 1/2 inches to 3 inches wide. The bracelet measures 5 inches from end to end on the silver and has a 1 1/4 inch gap (fits a 6 1/4 inch wrist). It measures 3 1/2 inches at the widest part. The earring measure 3/4 inch wide x 2 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The total weight for this lot is 677.9 grams.
