Offered for your consideration is "Silent Journey" a large and original oil on canvas by Oleg Stavrowsky.  Stavrowsky's works were created in the style of earlier great western artists such as Frederic Remington. He had stated "Western painting is my life, my income, my joy, my everything." This painting features a traveler on horseback making his way through a snowy forest. MAKER: Signed Oleg Stavrowsky in the lower right corner.  Oleg Stavrowsky (1927- 2020; American). Born in New York, Stavrowsky spent much of his early life in military service during World War II. Returning home, he became an illustrator at McDonnell - Douglas Aircraft before a trip to the Cowboy Hall of Fame started him to focus. on his art career. Most of his works relate to horses, Native Americans and cowboys. 
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).
SIZE: The frame measures approximately 60 inches from top to bottom x 46 inches across at the widest point.
