MAKER: Signed. John Yeager in the lower right corner. John Yeager was a volunteer dentist on the White River apache Reservation and grew to love the Native American culture and lifestyle. He became overwhelmed with the thought of permanently preserving their rich personalities. He spent time with the Lakota Sioux of the Pine Ridge Reservation and the Navajo in Northwest Arizona. He was inspired to put the brush to canvas and collectors praise the spirit seen in the faces and powerful emotion his paintings evoke.
