Sterling Silver Hopi Overlay Bracelet

Available here is a sterling silver Hopi overlay bracelet. This gorgeous bracelet features a geometric design with near perfect cut outs and lines. An etched technique was used to create a textured background which was then darkened to emphasize and add contrast to the design which rests on a smooth silver cuff!
Overlay jewelry consists of two pieces of silver soldered together. The top layer has a design drawn and cut out. When the design is complete, the top layer is soldered to a second layer of silver, which will show through the open areas of the design on the top.

APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (meaning 1980s or newer).  
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 1/2 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 inch gap (fits a 6 1/2 inch wrist). It measures 1/2 inch wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 28.6 grams.
