Description: Here is a neat looking bolo tie with nice 14k gold tips. It has 9 stones which appear to be Kingman "seafoam" turquoise. It is marked as 14K on the back in 2 places. We believe the main part of the slide is sterling silver (it was tested as such) and that the Gold on the front is a wash (or plated). The little gold accents appear to the good and the tips were tested as 14K (solid, not plated). So it is a combination of Gold, silver and gold plated in our opinion. This is from the famous, Jewel Box collection. The Jewel Box was owned by Morrey and Honeylou Resnick. They opened in 1949 and were located in downtown Phoenix. Later it was moved to North Central Avenue, until it closed in May, 2006. Over the years, they amassed a large collection of Native American Jewelry. Several of their pieces were photographed in the famous Arizona Highways turquoise issues from the 1970s, including the well-known magazines of the January 1974 issue, the August 1974 issue and the March 1975 issue. This is an awesome vintage bolo that came from a famous collection and it would go perfect in your collection and will look AWESOME on!
