This breathtaking belt features seven round conchos, eight butterfly conchos and a buckle, each highlighted with a cluster of turquoise cabochons which are set in sawtooth silver bezels. The pieces are further accented with a darkened silver background, silver dots, twisted wire and other silver accents. The conchos are on a wide black leather belt. MAKER: Hallmarked JW (stamped). Could be Juliana Williams (Navajo) or a number of other silversmiths who mark with those initials.
APPROX AGE: Fairly Modern (circa 1980s or newer).
SIZE: The overall length measures 50 inches long. The butterfly conchos measure 1 3/4 inches wide x 2 7/8 inches tall. The round conchos and buckle each measure 3 inches tall x 3 3/4 inches wide. The buckle fits a 3/4 inch belt. The total weight is 734.6 grams.
