Description: This vintage belt buckle was handmade by the late Bernard Dawahoya, who was declared an Arizona Indian Living Treasure in 1989 by the state of AZ. It features a bear paw overlay design with a single turquoise cabochon. The turquoise looks like it could be Bisbee with the reddish, chocolate colored matrix. It tested as sterling silver.

Approx. Age: Circa 1960s.
Size: Measures 2 3/4" w x 1 1/2" l. Fits up to a 1 1/2" belt. Weighs 44.7 g.
Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
