Vintage Chuck Irwin Handmade Bit

Available here for your consideration is a handmade bit by Chuck Irwin. Irwin was a man well known for his work with bits and spurs. The cheeks and shanks of this outstanding bit are inlaid in a flowing geometric design. The maker employed a flowed silver technique that is both difficult and uncommon. The technique involves heating silver and directing it to flow into the carved out spaces in the metal. SIZE: The mouth measures 5 inches wide, and is  7 1/2 inches long overall.
