Description: Ketoh is the Navajo word for a Bow Guard (arm guard). These were originally worn to protect the archer from the snap of the bow string when shooting a bow and arrow. Today they are worn as a fashion piece, just like a bracelet. This bow guard features a sterling silver (decorative plate), turquoise stone, two smaller coral stones and 8 - dimes from the early 1900's.
Maker: Most likely Navajo, but there is no maker's hallmark (which is common of Native American jewelry made in the early 1970s or prior).
Approx Age: Circa 1960s.
Size: Inside circumference measures about 9 inches and it is somewhat adjustable. It is 4 1/2 inches wide. Weighs 147.9 g.
Condition: Vintage, good for it's age, normal wear expected.
