Presented for your consideration is a vintage snake eye/dot turquoise inlay bracelet. This bracelet features a central mosaic inlay with an hourglass or initial I design created in turquoise set in onyx and accented with turquoise on each corner. *NOTE: The inlay has multiple cracks and small chips. See the pictures for details. The inlay is framed with dot turquoise and each side of the cuff has two rows of dot turquoise accented with twisted wire and silver dots. The inlay and the dot turquoise are resting in smooth silver bezels. The setting is displayed on a three wire terminal with conjoined ends and nice hand stamped designs. This sterling silver and snake eye/dot turquoise inlay bracelet would be a nice addition to any collection.
MAKER: Likely Zuni based on style and design, however this item is unmarked (as was common of Native jewelry from this era).
APPROX AGE: Circa 1940s.
SIZE: This bracelet measures approximately 5 inches from end to end on the silver, and has a 1 1/2 inch gap (fits a 6 1/2 inch wrist). It measures 1 1/16 inches wide at the widest part, and the total weight is 37.1 grams.
