DESCRIPTION: For your pleasure here is a beautiful old bridle that is a combination of hitched horsehair and hand braided Kangaroo leather. The horsehair is done in multiple colors and is accented with many well executed knots, handmade leather and glass rosettes, with hand braided Kangaroo leather reins. This headstall has an antique Buermann rearing horse bit on it. This is a good looking and highly collectible old bridle.
Maker: An unknown inmate at the Wyoming Territorial prison on the headstall and Buermann on the bit.
Approx Age: Circa early 1900s
Size: Bit has a 5 inch mouth piece and is 7 inches long overall. The headstall is a standard adjustable size and fits most average sized horses.
Condition: Pretty good for its age, some wear and minor imperfections expected.
