Description: Vintage mechanical hackamore with leather nose band and leather mouth guards. Frank Barrera has often been credited with inventing the mechanical hackamore because he was the first one to patent the idea in the 1930s. This one is made by him back then!

Approx Age: Circa 1930s.
Size: It has a 4 1/8" nose piece. It is 9 3/8" long overall.
Condition: Pretty good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. The leather on the cheek guards is turned up (but would easily go back down) and the nickel finish is pretty much gone.
