DESCRIPTION: Presented here for your pleasure is a very large Yokuts polychrome feast basket. The Yokuts home land was the San Joaquin Valley and the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. These California baskets are highly sought after for their pleasing appearance and well-made construction. This one remains in relatively good condition considering its age.

MAKER: An unknown Yokuts weaver.

APPROX AGE: Vintage, circa late 1800 to early 1900s.

SIZE: Measures a whopping 23 inches wide x 10 inches deep.
