Description: Offered here is a beautiful handmade sterling silver concho belt. This vintage concho belt is stamped, Handmade by Elias on the buckle and on one of the middle conchos, it is marked, by Carlos Diaz (who had a well-known shop in Tucson). The conchos are hand stamped and also show a dark patina from age. The black leather belt appears to be as old as the conchos.
Maker: Buckle is signed Elias. One of the conchos is marked Carlos Diaz (we believe Elias worked for Carlos Diaz at the time).
Approx. Age: Circa 1950-1960s.
Size: The conchos measure 2-3/4 inches wide X 2-1/8 inches long. The buckle is 3-5/8 inches wide X 2-3/8 inches long. The belt itself is 30-1/2 inches long overall. Weight is approx. 284.5 g. which would include everything.
Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items.
