ABOUT US

Family-owned & Operated.

Authentically Western.

Put simply, we’re passionate about preserving and perpetuating the rich history and heritage of the American West.

We specialize in Western & Native Americana, vintage turquoise jewelry, firearms, Southwestern antiques, art, and other collectibles. As experts that focus on quality and authenticity, we offer sellers and buyers a trusted place to connect and celebrate a shared love of Western culture.

Our business traces its roots back to 1877, in the AZ Territory, with the Foutz Trading Post. During the 1900s, the Foutz family operated numerous respected trading posts throughout Arizona and New Mexico. In the 1990s, a branch of the family opened a store in Casa Grande, Arizona, which we acquired in 2010 and changed the name to Western Trading Post.

Today, we’re still a family-owned and operated auction, gallery, wagon and Western museum in Wickenburg, Arizona — the Team Roping Capital of the World! Our family is proud to live and breathe the Western lifestyle, as we have for generations.

Our Western roots influence what we do and the values by which we do it. We've been hosting auctions since 2014, and our vision is to be the premier Western Genre auction company and gallery in the world. It's our commitment that every step we take towards this goal, and that every interaction along the way, is marked with integrity and honesty.

At Western Trading Post, we’re more than an auction house—we’re a piece of living Western history. We'll help you find, sell, or simply appreciate treasures of the past. Let’s preserve the spirit of the West together.
