DESCRIPTION: Offered here is an important piece for any old Zuni jewelry collector. This old knifewing pendant is attributed to Leekya Deyuse (and verified with several different Zuni experts). This fantastic piece is a classic knifewing design with old, natural turquoise stones and many silver accents. It is ready to be strung on a chain or displayed as is. It was made from sterling or possibly coin silver.
MAKER: Unsigned, but attributed to Leekya Deyuse (1889-1966; Zuni). A sought after and well known artist.
APPROX AGE: Circa 1940s.
SIZE: 2-7/8 inches long X 1-5/8 inches wide. Weighs 12.4 grams.
