Available here for your consideration are a nice pair of early California spurs with spur straps. They have engraved silver inlays and silver overlay accent dots, done in a crescent moon pattern. The shanks are also inlaid and have turned up chap guards with handmade 12 point rowels. They have original heel chains and nicely tooled straps which feature horse head theme conchos.
MAKER: Possibly Alberto Espinosa or Juan Flores.
APPROX AGE: Circa early 1900s.
SIZE: Spur measurement: The heel opening measures 3 1/2 inches, the band width measures 3/4 inches, and the shanks measure 2 1/2 inches long overall.
