Available here for your consideration is a fancy spade bit and headstall buckle by the master engraver Eddy Mardis. Mardis is an instructor for the Cowboy Arts/Western Silversmithing program at Mesalands Community College, in Tucumcari, NM. Besides jewelry, bits and spurs, his firearms engraving is over the top! It comes with a Bill Plummer handmade leather headstall. The bit features beautiful  engravings throughout, including on the spade. The patterns on the shanks are highlighted in the grooves with a blue color/material, making is so this piece really stands out - a lot.  An eye-catching headstall buckle with similar engravings as the bit is on the split ear headstall. Don't miss out on these great pieces and add them to your collection now!
MAKER: EDDY MARDIS (stylized, stamped) and the headstall is marked by Bill Plummer. 
APPROX AGE: Modern. 
SIZE: The mouth measures 5 1/4 inches wide, and is 7 3/4 inches long overall on the cheeks. The headstall appears to be a pretty standard size to fit many horses.
