Offered here for your consideration is Iron Hail, a very detailed bronze by Dave McGary. "A McGary bronze is a unique combination of American West and classic Renaissance art form of Italy." (Meyer Gallery) This beautiful bronze depicts the warrior Iron Hail, a warrior who fought alongside Crazy Horse, Gall and other famous war leaders. The sculpture itself is detailed but the fine painting is incredible. The headdress feathers, the bead work, the painted scenes on the shoulders of Iron Hail's clothing show a proud warrior in full regalia. The expression on his face is that of an indomitable warrior who, nonetheless, realizes the ultimate futility of resistance.
