Offered here for your consideration is a Jack Ferguson prototype pistol bit and it comes with a certificate of authenticity. This unique prototype was prepared for a numbered series of pistol bits by Jack Ferguson. The shank and purchase are patterned after a Hopkins Allen 32 black powder pistol. The barrel and cylinder are decorated in finely engraved silver and the hand cut cheek pieces are decorated with intricately engraved brass panels.
