This great old pair of handmade spurs are published on page 196 of the book, Cowboy Gear by David R. Stoecklein. The author even autographed the page the spurs are published on with a personal note which in part reads, "you purchased the finest spurs I have owned." These fine spurs are single mounted with silver inlay, have chap guards, original 10 point rowels and heel chains. They are unmarked but attributed in the book to Mike Morales. This is a great opportunity to own a pair of collectible spurs published in a major book!
MAKER: Mike Morales (1888-1934).
APPROX AGE: Circa 1915.
SIZE: Heel opening measures 3-3/8 inches. Band measures 5/8 inches. Shanks measure 3-1/4 inches including the rowels.
