Offered here for your consideration is a rare spade bit done in a pistol style and it is by Jack Ferguson. You see these pistol bits once in a while by Jack, but not very often do you see a spade! This one is marked number 13 of 13. The shanks are in the shape of a revolver with expertly engraved silver plates for the revolver handles. The cylinder and the loading gate are etched with leaf patterns reminiscent of the Canon City prison style of engraving Jack was so well known for. The bit is further enhanced with silver dots and etchings, making it an attractive looking bit! Clearly the work of a skilled artisan -- this stunning bit belongs in your collection!
