DESCRIPTION: Available here is a sterling silver and coral concho belt. This amazing belt features 9 gorgeous conchos with extremely eye-catching hand stamped designs on smooth silver. Each concho has their own small coral cabochon in a small handmade sawtooth bezel. The conchos sit on a great black leather belt. The leather belt is extremely long (a whopping 58 inches!), but could easily be cut to accommodate a smaller waist.
MAKER: Hallmarked S. & A. NEZ, Shiprock, NM. Arlene Nez (1953-; Navajo). Active since 1980s. Arlene shares her stamp with her husband, Sydney Nez.
APPROX AGE: Fairly modern.
SIZE: The overall belt length measures 58 inches, and 3/4 inch wide or thick (fits up to a 7/8 inch wide belt). The conchos measure 2-1/8 inches wide x 1-1/2 inches tall. The buckle measures 2-1/2 inches wide x 1-7/8 inches tall. It weighs a total of 271.6 grams.
