DESCRIPTION: For your review is a vintage dainty Zuni needlepoint necklace. This smaller necklace or choker features beautiful tiny needlepoint turquoise cabochons each in handmade sawtooth bezels. They are accented by delicate silverwork of twisted wire and dots. It is sterling silver and the centerpiece and side accents of this necklace are conjoined by a handmade link chain that can easily be adjusted to several lengths.
MAKER: Hallmarked Octavius & Irena Beowtewa, Zuni, NM (etched in script).
APPROX AGE: Circa 1970s.
SIZE: The necklace measures approx. 15 inches around the neck. The center portion of the "pendant" is about 3/4 inches thick (top to bottom) X 2-7/8 inches across. The side pieces measure 1/2 inch in thickness and 1 inch across. It weighs a total of 23.0 grams.
