DESCRIPTION: Available here is a vintage Navajo UITA-15 bracelet. This is a stunning bracelet with a fantastic turquoise cabochon at the center. The setting is surrounded with beautifully done twisted wire, hoops, and dots for accents. The band has additional silverwork  and the terminals themselves have flattened, twisted wire edges. It is marked with UITA 15 on the back; United Indian Traders Association (UITA), is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the authenticity of Native American arts and crafts. 

MAKER: Hallmarked with UITA 15 (arrowhead between I and T). United Indian Traders Association (Institution). The UITA was formed in 1931. 

APPROX AGE: Circa 1940s. 

SIZE: This bracelet measures 5-5/8 inches from end to end on the silver plus a 1-1/8 inch gap (fits a 6-3/4 inch wrist). It measures 1-1/2 inches wide, and weighs 53.0 grams.
